    Other than what a base CRM product does, Salesgenie CRM++ does much more. For one, it is an integrated marketing and sales platform which allows marketing and sales to collaborate on market opportunities.   • Q. What is B2B CRM? What is B2C CRM?

    Sales and marketing processes are optimized to reflect the customers of the company- whether those customers are other businesses or individual consumers. B2B is Business to Business and B2C is Business to Consumer. Salesgenie CRM++ in its current version is a B2B CRM software: it works best when your customers are other businesses.

  • Q. What is SAAS?

    SAAS (Software As A Service) is simply the easiest and best way for small businesses (and increasingly even bigger ones!) to use software. SAAS means that the software application is hosted on a server and you, the user, gain access to the software through the internet. So, the only thing you need is your normal PC running a browser. Users do not need to invest in hardware or software in this model; nor do they need to have their own IT infrastructure (networking, IT support etc).

  • Q. Why is Salesgenie CRM++ on SAAS?

    Salesgenie CRM++ is available on the SAAS model because it is the only way we can find to keep our software updated over thousands of installations spread across the world. When we roll out and upgrade, we do not ask you to download a version from our website or email you a patch. The patch is rolled out on the central application server, and it is non-disruptive, everyone has the same version of the software and that makes it easy to support..



  • Q. But, all my data.. is that safe?

    Is you money safe in the bank? After all, you do access your bank over the net, do you not? And your e-mail? We host your data in very secure data-servers and with multiple layers of security and access control: both physical and digital. Please read our Privacy policy.

  • Q. Can you view or use my customer data?

    We are governed by the Privacy Policy which basically says that unless we are forced by law, we cannot access your data without your permission. Your data is secured by password and layers of access control. Should we need access to it for purposes of trouble-shooting; we will do so under explicit written permission from you.

  • Q. Can only companies in India use Salesgenie CRM++?

    Irrespective of where you are in the world, so long as you have an internet connection and a supported browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Safari), you can access and use Salesgenie CRM++ as a registered user.

  • Q. We sell in many countries and often in more than one currency. Can I use Salesgenie CRM++?

    Very simply, yes! You can sell in as many countries using as many currencies as you wish- and still use Salesgenie CRM++ to send quotations and invoices in the currencies of your choice. So, whether you are a Mittelstand company based out of Germany and exporting around the world, or a Textile exporter from Bangladesh selling to buyers in US, you can use Salesgenie CRM++ to send quotes and invoices.

  • Q. I need to run marketing campaigns (email newsletters, seminar invites). Can I do that using Salesgenie CRM++?

    Of course! Not only that, you can do so using professionally created HTML templates and customize the mailers by addressees. Additionally, your customers can accept your event (seminar, tradeshow etc) invitation by clicking a link in the email and then you can run a report for the upto the minute seminar registrations to have those that have registered show up. Cool!

  • Q. Can we purchase it online? What is the process?

    You can purchase a Starter Pack first. A Starter Pack is a really inexpensive way to get started using full-featured Salesgenie CRM++. It gets you 3 licensed users (plus 1 designated admin) for a price of Rs 1,999/- per month (conditions apply). Please visit our Registration page.

  • Q. Can we pay in other currencies than Indian Rupees?

    If you are based in a country outside India, then we invoice you in US Dollars, automatically.

  • Q.I want to buy more licenses than what is allowed in the starter pack (three only). How can I do that?

    Once you buy a starter pack and complete your registration and login, you can go to License Management under Client Administration menu and buy additional licenses with a simple click of a button.

  • Q. I have a FREE account. I would like to now migrate to the full-fledged paid account and add more users. How can I do that?

    As a first step, please buy a starter pack from the License Management section of Salesgenie CRM++, after login. When you do that, your existing 2 licenses will acquire the full privilege of a paid account (they can start synching their MS-Outlook contacts with their online Salesgenie CRM++ account, start uploading a contact list from a Excel spreadsheet etc and get full reporting capability). You also acquire an additional license against which you can add another user. Should you need additional users, please buy more licenses from the License Management.

  • Q. We are based in Germany (or Australia or Singapore or USA or Thailand), how can we purchase it?

    On purchase of the Starter Pack or Licenses, we create an invoice which is emailed to your registered email address. Please ensure you transfer money online to our account per the instructions in the invoice within the credit period. All invoices to countries other than India are in US Dollars.
    Can I use credit cards to pay?
    Not yet! But, soon.

  • Q. In free users and paid users what is the difference other than payment?

    Our FREE users can use virtually all the existing features of Salesgenie CRM++ with the following restrictions:

    a) They cannot use the mass upload of contacts feature.
    b) They cannot synchronize their MS-Outlook contacts with the Salesgenie CRM++ contacts database.
    c) They cannot create their custom reports- they can only use the stored reports available to all.

    There are no further restrictions on the number of contacts they can add or other activities like sending quotes or invoices per month. There is no obligation to advertise Salesgenie CRM++ while using it as a FREE user/ account. Of course, if you are happy with us, do spread the story!
    The other important requirement to maintain your FREE account is to continue using it. We do monitor usage and if we find a FREE account has NOT been used at least once in the preceding one month, we reserve the right to terminate your account without any further notice.

  • Q. Are free users charged some amount or its absolutely free?

    No charge; all free.

  • Q. What is the charge to be paid by paid users?

    We have really low monthly license fees which can be as low as Rs 999/- per month per user. You can purchase licenses for 3 months, 6 months or 12 months validity.

  • Q. Do you provide any credit facility? If yes, then what is the credit period?

    Starter pack (1admin + 3 users) can be purchased with a 30 days credit period. This is to help you evaluate the software and still decide not to pay at the end of the 30 days period if you are not happy with your experience for any reason whatsoever.
    Purchase of additional licenses comes with a 10 days credit period at the time of purchase.

  • Q. What will happen if we pay after the credit/ trial period?

    Our licensing process is not manual- so your account needs to show payment against the account activation (for paid accounts) and licenses purchase for your licenses to continue to be active after the trial period. If your money reaches us after the end of the trial/ credit period, please allow for a couple of working days to reactivate your licenses and account.

  • Q. What are the installation charges?

    There is no installation required! Salesgenie CRM++ is a “hosted software”- we host the software and your data in a secured server- you as a registered user can access it so long as you have a valid license and a PC connected to the internet.

  • Q. What is difference between account and contact?

    Account is the customer company. Contacts are persons employed at your customer company. Many contacts together, typically decide on a purchase made by your customer company.

  • Q. What is static profile?

    A static profile refers to the profile information of a contact that is related to his name, address, employment (industry, company, designation etc)

  • Q. What is activity profile?

    An activity profile is a contact’s history of interactions with us: asking for literature, asking for quotes, attending seminars or previous purchase history.

  • Q. What do you mean by “signal” in automatic lead recognition?

    All experienced sales people recognize the buying signal even before the customer has signaled his intent explicitly. It is typically a combination of many small things- all showing the customer’s interest in your product or service. Some typical ones include attending a seminar, visiting your tradeshow booth, requesting or downloading a piece of sales literature, asking for a demonstration and of course, requesting a quote!

  • Q. What is “valuable signal” in lead recognition?

    Even though it is not an exact science, it can be safely said that some of the buying signals above are more valuable than the others. For example, picking up sales literature from your booth in a tradeshow may not count for much compared with a Request for a Quote.

  • Q. What do you mean by weight related to signal?

    Again, it is not an exact science but we have polled many sales managers in assigning “Weightages” – nominal values for various customer activities that count as buying signals.

  • Q. How can we use “industry view” and “product view” in understanding the impact of sales and marketing actions?

    Let us say you get a report which shows how many leads or deals have been created in the entire database for your accounts. Now, you may want to “slice” the report in terms of the industries- to see in which industry segments you have got the most successes. You can do the same thing by the Product View- to figure out which Products are selling the most.
    A combination of the above two can help understanding if the products that you were targeting to sell in large numbers in a certain industry segment are indeed selling there.

  • Q. What types of reports does Salesgenie CRM++ provide?

    Salesgenie provides a large number of pre-defined reports. It also provides a facility for generating customized reports to our paid users.

  • Q. Can we import our data from another CRM program?

    Yes; so long as that program allows export of data in a format which is consistent with Salesgenie CRM++ data standards. Please contact sales@anwesha.in for more information.

  • Q. Do different users have different access rights in the system?

    Yes, Salesgenie CRM++ has 4 classes of users: Client Administrator: is the primary contact for us and he/ she is the person who sets up the account, uploads data and various customizations so that actual user can use the system. Marketing: has access to all data but is not allowed to perform some functions like sending a quote or modifying a deal record.
    Sales Co-Ordinator/ Telesales: Like marketing, but with the added ability to send quotes on behalf of account owners. Sales executive/ Account Owner: Can perform most functions in the system; his access is limited to accounts and contacts in his territory assigned.
    Sales Manager: can perform most functions in the system; has limited access to accounts and contacts belonging to sales executives (or other managers) reporting into him.

  • Q. Can I use Salesgenie CRM++ to create e-mail templates/ stored proposals?

    Sure. You can use the integrated template creation tool to create an html page for mailing to customers. Or, you can cut and paste an existing html page from somewhere else. Or, you can use an existing e-mail template in the system and modify it to create a new one.

  • Q. How does Salesgenie CRM++ help me to pursue and track clients?

    We make three major improvements to the way traditional CRM systems have approached the customer acquisition and retention challenges.
    Firstly, we make the process to import and clean up lists of accounts and contacts really easy. Then we have good level of profiling of the customers.
